I love to surf, as most of my friends know. So today, in the heat, get out and get wet, surf, learn to surf, spend this weekend having fun.

montage wedding highlights

We just did an amazing wedding at the Montage in Laguna Beach

We started off the day early at 9am and the guys invited me to go surf with them, it was really a fun 2 hours, however i got a little bit sunburned, so the rest of the day i was a bit warm, We managed to pull some sweet maneuvers with the guys on the beach here, I LOVE these stunts!

Christyn's girls came fully prepared for a great time, its was sweet!

So.... you cant have a pillow fight without the feathers, and i will let your imagination run as far as where we came up with the feathers. This was priceless, literally.
I think the Montage is an AMAZING for its backdrops.

Mark & Christyn had a great time getting away to take some shots down by the beach. We had like 8 minutes, but they pulled it off, I was proud of them!

Montage wedding and Surfing?

Yea, the best combo you can get. We had a great morning of surfing with the groomsmen for a couple of hours, then a wedding at the Montage later in the day. One of the sweetest places to get married in the OC is quite possibly at the Montage in Laguna Beach. This last weekend, I had an amazing time shooting a wedding and I will fill in more details later this week. But I am spending a lot of time surfing here with a new swell that is coming in, but once I edit the images, I will get them online I will present the reception highlights show with it show web.

Epic Surf...

Those of you who surf, know these days, at the right spots, the swell is going off. There is a North/South swell combo in the water and we left early enough to be at Jalama @ 7am hitting the waves as the sun broke throught the clouds. Dan, my buddy and I scored some sweet waves, and spite of my lighly sprained ankle, was able to ride my share. (Anna & Keone, if your reading this, dont worry, it will be better by your wedding on saturday!) Here are some images i pulled offline, to give you an idea of what an amazing spot this is. Get out and visit it if you have never been out there! Have a great rest of your weekend!

Above, you can see how glassy and peaky it gets, blow, a glimpse of the whole bay/beach area, sitting below the coastal mountains.
