S now I am a humbling 40,000 images behind. But I am so excited to be done with the construction and now I am editing every day to catch up. So here is the long awaited wedding @ Bianchi Winery. Trenton & Gracey got married and the amazing Janice Casacca planned and designed an stunning day. Tonight we are having the release party at our new studio. Montage wedding and Surfing?

Yea, the best combo you can get. We had a great morning of surfing with the groomsmen for a couple of hours, then a wedding at the Montage later in the day. One of the sweetest places to get married in the OC is quite possibly at the Montage in Laguna Beach. This last weekend, I had an amazing time shooting a wedding and I will fill in more details later this week. But I am spending a lot of time surfing here with a new swell that is coming in, but once I edit the images, I will get them online I will present the reception highlights show with it show web.

Amazing 7.7.07 wedding!

I was blessed to be able to capture this wedding today, here is maybe my fav image from the day, I'll post more images on monday morning!! This wedding was at a Private Estate in Arroyo Grande, Near San Luis Obispo, and was served by an amazing array of sweet vendors who did an incredible job. They made my job much easier and made everything so photogenic! Thanks to everyone, and thanks especially to you guys; Chris & Heather!

Camera Toss Over Cement?!

I normally throw my camera up over grass, but here i had no choice, and all there was, was cement. So I did what a responsible photographer could do, throw it up and just be forced to catch it! Here is the shot! My wedding party and the bride and groom last saturday expected no less!

Weddings: "HOW TO SHOOT A GREAT SHOT"

Last Friday my buddy Mike Colon asked me to help him out at a wedding, I have been inspired by this guy and thought I had seen it all, but last friday, showing his Super Ninja form, he was in style and in perfect form. In all my years, i have never seen a photographer with such amazing moves, and amazing results, This is truly a revolutionary style.

I was honored to shoot with him, (Thanks for having me Mike, I had a smashing great time!), and got to thinking; so this inspired me to post this shot from a wedding last month. First is my shot, then Rachel shot this one of me in action. Crazy, its taken me a few months to perfect this toss, but it gets amazing results...

For the record:

Mike catching the camera: 16
Ground catching the camera: 0 (lets hope i keep it that way!..)
Cost of Camera and lens if dropped: $4,500 (1d mk2 + 15mm fisheye)
Cost of getting the shot of the bridal party surpised: Priceless
